	The Chicago Alumni Chapter Initiated Eight New Alumni Members in March, 2009, During a Ceremony Held in the Courtroom of Our Honorary Chair, Judge James F. Holderman, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
At our recent St. Patrick's Day Luncheon, we presented a $1,000 check to the Lawyers' Assistance Program, which we raised from our Second Annual Vincent Vitullo Ethics and Professionalism Seminar in January.  Pictured from left:   Royal F. Team P.A.D., led by Julie-April Montgomery, at the 2009 March of Dimes "March for Babies."  For the sixth consecutive year, we have raised over $10,000 for this charity, achieving Platinum status!  Congratulations to the team, and thanks to all who contributed!	Robert A. Clifford receives an award recognizing him as the inaugural "Distingished Lecturer" for the Chapter's Distinguished Lecture Series.  Joining him are Chapter Justice Michele Jochner and Chapter Honorary Chair, Hon. James Holderman.
The law firm of Holland & Knight hosted the Chapter's kickoff "Distinguished Lecture Series."  From l to r: Robert Clifford, our inaugural "Distinguished Lecturer"; Barbara Andersen, Partner at Holland & Knight and co-host of the event; Michele Jochner, Chapter Justice; and Hon. James F. Holderman, Chapter Honorary Chair.	The Chicago Alumni Chapter and the West Suburban Alumni Chapter battled for the 2009 Bowl-A-Thon title, while raising money for a DuPage homeless shelter.  Congratulations to both teams for a great effort, and for raising nearly $1,000.
